The land of Denmark mainly consists of 3parts, Jutland peninsula next to Germany,
Sjelland island is the site of Copenhagen and Fyn island is located between Jutland and Sjelland.
We left Cophenhagen for Fyn island by car.
Fyn island has the city, Odense where Hans Chirstian Anderson was born. It already sounds interesting.
Moreover, on internet I found the lovely B&B house with traditional straw-thatched roof . I got curious to stay there.
2 hour-drive from Copenhagen, we were already in Fyn island and saw beautiful country scenery like our home, Japan.
デンマークの国土は主に、ドイツと地続きのユトランド半島・コペンハーゲンのあるシェラン島、そして中央にあるフュン島で成り立っています。コペンハーゲンを後にして、私たちはフュン島へと出発しました。
フュン島はアンデルセンの故郷・・・と聞いただけでも行ってみたくなりませんか？
でも一番の理由は、旅の計画中にたまたま見つけた”藁葺き屋根の民家”にステイしたくなったからです。
コペンハーゲンから車で約2時間、フュン島に入るとまるで日本の田舎のような光景が広がります。
Here I found Danish Sense of Beauty, which has been producing masterpiece design.
The beauty exsits in people's daily life. I think this is the important background of this country.
We stayed at "Staevnegaarden Guesthouse" , where we can experience such beautiful Danish life.
This is the hostmother, Else. She has been managing this B&B for 25years in her old farmer's house.
私はここで、美しいデザインを生み出してきたデンマーク人のセンスを目の当りにするのです。
日々の暮らしの美しさ・美意識の高さこそが、このデザイン大国を支えているように感じました。
私が宿泊したStaevnegaarden Guesthouseは、まさにそんな素敵なデニッシュライフを体験できるところ。
ホストマザーのエルゼさん。農家の古いお家を増改築し、25年間B&B（ベッド＆ブレックファスト）を営んでいます。
This is the room we stayed. It looks like something from interior magazines.
She places old furniture which inheritate from her parents or grand parents and wonderfully cordinate with some little things.
It was very impressive that every corner had a focal point, such as antique bottles by windows, colorful dish on the table/chest and so on. Any part of the room is photogenic like a perfect picture. I think that she knows by nature how to make the room look bright and pleasant.
私たちの宿泊したお部屋。まるでインテリア雑誌のようでしょう。なにも特別に誂えたのではないんです。
エルゼさんのご両親や祖父母から受け継いだ家具や、小物を上手にインテリアに取り入れてコーディネートしています。
もっとも印象深いのは、どの部分を見ても必ず「フォーカルポイント」があることです。
窓辺のアンティークの小瓶、チェストの上のお皿。ちょっと目を引くデザインや色目をさりげなく置く・・・部屋のどこを見ても画になります。
Her lifestyle is beautiful as well. For our breakfast, she prepared home-made smoked cheese and fresh eggs from chicken in the garden. She served them with Royal Copenhagen dish, I guess she has been using them for a long time with love.
Also every morning she picked up flowers from the garden and put on the table for the guests.
Behind the guest house, we found the large yard with swings, a play house covered by straw-thatched roof and rabbits house.
Of course my children were so excited to play there. I wish they could grow up here, because children have great creativity in the nature. It is said that Anderson spent lots of time in the garden in his poor childhood.
暮らし方もとても素敵。毎朝、自家製の燻製チーズと卵が食卓に並びます。
お皿やポットは、さりげなくロイヤルコペンハーゲン。きっと代々大切に使っているのでしょう。
そして必ずフレッシュなお花。それも毎朝色目をかえて・・
また広い敷地には、子供たちが大好きなプレイハウス（それも藁葺き屋根）、ぶらんこ、うさぎ小屋があります。
アンデルセンは貧しい子供時代、庭で空想して遊んでいたといいます。
子供は、豊かな自然から何かを創造する天才です。こんなところで子育てできたら最高でしょうね。
I was absolutely fashionated by Danish country life.
On the way back, I dropped at the Antique shop and bought colorful bottles.
Now I put them by the window, look fantastic with bright sunshine.
I am dreaming that one day I would have my own house decorated with them.

帰り際に立ち寄ったアンティークショップで、きれいな色使いの小瓶を買いました。
モスクワのアパートの窓辺に置くと、太陽の光を受けてキラキラきれい。
いつか自分の理想の住まいで、素敵にコーディネートしたいものです。
