Russian Easter is coming this sunday.
During the week before Easter, we can see beautiful decoration in restaurants, shops and streets etc.
Usually decorated with the cake called "Kurich" and painted eggs.
On the top of the cake, there is the word "XB" (Христос воскресе) which means, "Christ is Risen".
ロシア正教会のイースターは、この日曜日です。
イースター前の楽しみは、レストランやお店やストリートで見られる素敵なデコレーションです。
「クーリッチ」と呼ばれるレーズン入りのケーキと、ペイントされた卵がよく飾られています。
ちなみにケーキに「XB」と書かれているのは「キリスト復活」という意味です。
Since I have no religion, I don't need to prepare anything at home.
However, around this time I always keep my eyes on supermarkets, because
I can find beautiful Russian Easter decoration stuff!!
They are not only Easter eggs or banny things like typical western Easter.
The design is much more Russian folk art.
私自身は無宗教なので、イースターのために何か用意することはありません。
でも、この時期になると必ずスーパーマーケットをよくよくチェックします。
なぜかというと・・とっても可愛いロシアのイースターグッズが売られているからです。
欧米の典型的なイースターグッズ、卵やうさぎちゃんとは趣が異なります。
そのデザインはもっとロシアの民芸アートっぽいのです。

（紙袋と、プラスティック製の花瓶。卵を象徴するネコヤナギ用）
In my case, I use these stuff for wrapping Russian souveniors to give my friends.
Although Russia has lots of fine handcrafts such as Matryoshka,
we can't find suitable wrapping papers or bags with original design.
I think it is good idea to use Easter packages instead of it.
These packages are basically designed for eggs, so unfortunately they are too tiny to wrap Matryoshka, but enough size for some sweets and little accessories.
It would be more impressive presents for your friends.
私の場合は、これらのグッズをロシア土産を包むのに使っています。
ロシアにはご存知、マトリョーシカをはじめ素敵なお土産がたくさんあるのに、
それにふさわしいようなロシアデザインの包み紙や紙袋があまり見当たりません。
イースターの包装は基本的に卵を包むためのものなので、マトリョーシカを包には小さすぎますよね・・・
でもチョコレートやクッキー、キャンディー、ピアスなどの小さなアクセサリーを包むのにぴったりです。
